How to Import iPhone Contacts to Mac

“Hi, I would like to import my contacts from iPhone to Mac for backup. I don’t trust iCloud and other online or cloud backup service. Is there any way that I can transfer contacts from iPhone to Mac freely?”

If you don’t want to use iCloud service, you can use iTunes to backup your iPhone. The backup file will be saved in your Mac. In this article, I will show you a much more flexible and use-friendly way to transfer or import contacts from iPhone to Mac. Step 1. Connect iPhone to Mac

Install and run iOS Transfer on your Mac. Connect your iPhone to Mac via USB cable. This program will recognize your iPhone and connect it easily.


Tips: If your iTunes pops up, close it.

Step 2. Select Contacts on iPhone

On the left side of the interface, you will see all the iPhone files you can manage with this iOS Transfer program. Go to “Contacts” section and you will see all the iPhone contacts and contact groups on the interface. You are allowed to select any of them to transfer.
